ota update Mi stable 11.0.7.0 on Mi9

I have no problem updating through OTA but I don't know what people are doing and if they know what they're doing with their phone. There's no bootloop but first boot after update takes much longer than previous update (I watch youtube while waiting, so it's not really boring, probably 10...

MIUI 11 MIUI 11.0 STABLE RELEASE

Any full changelog for 11.0.7.0 Mi 9? I can find some (camera vlog mode, camera a bit revamped pro mode, dark mode in browser, fix screen recorder, etc.), but might also miss some, so it's better if the changelog comes from the developer itself, in a full form, not generalized.

Is there any ROM for Mi 9 with EIS in 1080p@60fps video recording?

Custom ROMs don't have better camera libs as of now, so none is better than the original ROM. Stabilizing 60fps isn't as simple as reusing the code to stabilize 30fps, it's a different beast that requires deep coding skills that Xiaomi engineers might not have yet.

Is the Mi9 really that bad?

It's called preference. No matter how many people say it's bad, look at how big the community that actually uses it daily. Yes and no. It does struggle in bad lighting conditions, but doesn't mean it can't make good photos. In fact, most of the time it captures beautiful photos night and day...

Panarama not working since Mi 11

If P360 can't even take panorama, then it might be something deeper in the system, whatever it is, as it's a 3rd party app that should've nothing to do with MIUI camera app, but it will use the same base library for taking the photostreams.

Panarama not working since Mi 11

Works fine for me, unless it's the stitching quality that you questioned (indeed, it's bad, that's why I purchase P360 app): * resized with ImageMagick to 5MB due to original size being over 30MB!

    [Mi9] Root Android 10 ?

Try a clean install. Magisk 20.1 works fine on my MIUI 11 stable.

Last stable rom is from quite a while ago

That's global INDIA schedule, where Mi 9 isn't available officially. The China stable release is early November (Phase 2) for Mi 9.

Last stable rom is from quite a while ago

Yes, that's the last one available from MIUI EU as their tool no longer supports 10.2 and Mi 9 will jump straight to MIUI 11 based on Android Q instead of having another 10.X update. The global stable is still being updated, though. The same 10.2 but with more features and bug fixes (new camera...

HowTo: Mi9 Xiaomi.eu back to Global Rom and ReLock Bootloader

I just did this. Apparently I can't wait for the MIUI 11 EU. Without system wide dark mode, the battery life doesn't meet my expectations. I barely get 5 hours SoT in 24 hours per charge. With system wide dark mode in global, the SoT increases by 2 hours more. I install magisk then adaway...

    [Mi 9] no Updates anymore

I only miss "OK, Google" and probably the dedicated macro mode in stock camera app from current EU stable, which can be overcomed by the dedicated assistant button. Knowing that it may jump straight to MIUI 11 in less than a month, I think I can live with it.

    Bluetooth issue

Rather than coming back to this useless debate again, how about generating that logcat? No logcat, no bug. It's a common rule in custom ROM world, by the way, if you haven't known already. Go check xda-developers custom ROM threads. You haven't even tried, how do you it won't show anything? I...

    Bluetooth issue

If you guys are really really desperate with the issue, and none of developers can reproduce given the steps (of course it's possible to happen, it doesn't happen to me as well), then give them a logcat containing logs when this issue happens. Otherwise, it's a valid move for the developers to...

    10.3.1 issue

Looks like it changes partition layout or something, therefore the full wipe is mandatory. I even lose my fingerprint data, so when I restore my twrp backup I can't get in. It also wipes out /sdcard, something that's normally not done during normal wipe. Now I have to extract it from my twrp backup.

    Help - error7 (md5)

Your TWRP is old, update it. That first line checks whether the device is correct so you don't mistakenly flash the ROM on the wrong device. Might not be so lucky next time if the updater script uses something else that only newer TWRP has.

Which *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* version are you using for your Mi Note 3?

Selfies are definitely a lot better, main camera is more useful in low light when you use night sight, but as the HDR+ (since it uses the same basic algorithm), it requires certain lighitng conditions to be fulfilled if you don't want to end up in greenish black. A more equally lit scene is more...
