Yesterday I tried many things but I did not fix any bug. I also ported the RN4 ROM from scratch and it did not charge when it was off so I suppose that it is not working in that ROM because in the AOSP I ported from that phone it is working well Enviado desde mi Redmi Pro mediante Tapatalk

There a new Lineage OS 13 ROM for the RN4 so maybe I can fix offscreen charging if I change the base ROM to that ROM. However camera is not wokring at all in that ROM, but camera is this ROM was useless anyway ^^

The main problem may be the power source more than the size of the partitions. I have a non-portable HDD (it uses a power source that is not the phone or PC where you connect it) and it works well on my RM Pro even if it has 3TB

Those are the kernel sources for Apollo Lite. Even if it has the same CPU it has a different camera, different speaker... Then if we want an stable ROM we would need the kernel sources for the Redmi Pro Enviado desde mi Redmi Pro mediante Tapatalk

That guide explains the easy part of the process of building a ROM as it assumes that the builder has a device tree for his device and we do not have it. The tricky thing is to create a device tree that result in a successful compilation giving the builder a booting ROM

AudioFx can be disabled in settings without any problem. It is a bug of the base ROM so that could be really hard to fix or even impossible

Noted! It is running with graphic libs from RN4 so that may be the problem

The main problem is that we do not have the source code and that is the main reason why ROMs like slimrom won't give us official support. I will keep doing my best porting and see if we finally get a stable ROM Enviado desde mi Redmi Pro mediante Tapatalk

Thanks for trying it! I did not face overheat when I tried it but it could be a bug as this ROM has plenty of them [emoji14] It is not an easy job to port a ROM with a higher Android version than the official one. And it may be impossible to solve the bugs we have now until we get an official...
