the same thing happen to my i got error in adb command but i read here that the adb command work with last twrp update so i try and its work but even when the adb not work and i go to fastboot when i restart the phone its work but cant go to twrp

why this happen to your phone ???

i can confirm that TWRP work in mi 10 12.2.2 by using "fastboot boot twrp.img but you need to load last twrp 3.4.2b-0623 any older version not work

ok ,, i update my Mi 10 from 12.0.8 Android 10 to 12.2.2 Android 11 with dirty flash via Twrp and every thing work fine ,, sure i was try weekly beta befor and i know android 11 problems and its still there in 12.2.2 , dual app dont work and cuased sys app crash and some apps dont apply coustm...

you can boot to twrp by adb command only so you need pc to do that

which Twrp version you use ??

i was in beta and i go from 20.9.17 A10 to 20.10.15 A11 in mi Note 10 pro with dirty flash and its work fine i dont understand why i can not do this in stable !!

did you mean i can go from 12.0.8 to 12.2.2 without losing data and dirty flash and the twrp still work , i dont use root too and dont need playstore certify i dont use any credit card and banking apps in my phone

try this not my fix but someone here made it
