I think this is due to MIUI, I also have the same problem on Xiaomi Mi 10T 22.5.18 weekly, because when I turn Game Turbo with Performance mode turned on, higher frequencies unlocks.

If it really bothers you, read previous messages, peoples have given you solutions. I think this is just stupid to be annoyed by an NFC icon, as if it's an issue.

Then I don't think NFC icon is a problem? Many Android phones have this icon in the status bar already, Xiaomi is only adding it now.
