This will probably only help you to a limited extent, but I can at least tell you that this is not a fundamental problem with this ROM. On my 9t battery life is very good and there are no lags at all.

If you`re looking for the search bar, it`s in the top right corner of the page. ;)

BTW: Meanwhile I have tried it myself and it works perfectly. (Google Pay on Mi 9T after dirty Flash of Android 11)

Has anyone tried Google Pay on their Mi 9T so far? Despite Android 11, Safety Net has given me the green light, so it should work.

I'll be that somebody. ;) It's certainly not the same on all devices, but at least on the Mi 9T (davinci) SafetyNet and Google Pay works without problems. I suppose that this might change when the change to Android 11 comes, but under Android 10 Google Pay was usable on every weekly version...

Sorry, but it wasn't about the app-drawer but about getting rid of the swipe-up-search. ... But problem is already solved.

Thanks a lot. I had always looked under "gestures" (and behind the second homescreen menu I only suspected the question whether with or without app-drawer)

I would like to know that too. It happens by chance sometimes, when trying to open the overview, this annoying search screen comes up. Disabling the app just results in a black screen telling me that this app is not installed, which is only a little bit less annoying ;)

I have the same issue on my Mi 9t since the last version. (Needed nearly a week to find out, obviously don`t use my phone for actually calling people) Thanks for the hint with Doube Click. It works well enough to patiently wait for a fix.

are you sure you waited long enough? The first reboot after an installation can sometimes take very, very long

this seems to be one of the many different notifications of google maps. if you press longer on the icon of the app, you can choose under "app info" which of these notifications you want to see and which not. it is a very long list, but it is worth it ;)

My Mi 9T dozes like a marmot. So the reason behind it might not just be the version, but a combination of factors.

There has to be a way to get rid of those notifications. I`m using xiaomi.eu roms for a while now, on three different models, and i never encountered such a behaviour. I guess it is some switch which is not obviously connected to the topic. Are these Wifis perhaps without password, so they can...

That is a Bug, which exists since the first Miui 12 Beta version. As it is only an annoying display error and nothing functional, i asume it has no high priority. But i'm sure they will fix it before the stable version come out.

The power consumption statistics are showing >24h again. :) ... it was only a minor annoyance and did not even find it`s way into the changelog, but thanks anyway! Okay, I got excited too soon. It counts beyond 24h, but after 25h it shows the time wrong. maybe next time ;)

You mean the one, where you can choose between System, Fastboot and Recovery? You can switch it on or off within the Developer Options. (Should be something like "extended Power menu")

Normally, the beta channel is kept and the beta continues to evolve beyond the status of the stable version. If you want to switch to the stable version, you have to reflash.
