Did you try to dirty flash your current rom?

I have always used the browser for banking, no headaches of any kind, super easy and another app less that consumes battery in background. For contactless payment I'm "old school", I use my card, lol

There might be some test hidden menu but you need to Google for it as I don't know the code, did you try to clear cache and data for the stock app?

Contactless I assume you use Google pay right? In that case it works easily with Magisk hide. For the rest you can use your browser

The thing is buddy many people don't know what they are doing and since they either don't have the knowledge nor the confidence to fix such issue that they involuntary did it themselves,they start panicking and using wrong word such as bricked or bootloop for issues easily fixable

The thing is we do not understand the nature of the issue, but what we know is that as long as the phone boots into fastboot and gets recognized by windows/adb you can still flash whatever you want according to the standard processes
