I actually found the Mi unlock status binding quite weird, in my tries everytime I wanted to bind the account I had to log off and log back on again in order to successfully binding it. Also everytime I restart the phone I lose developer options

What does it mean format data? If you go to the wipe menu it opens 3 possibilities one in the left (manual wipe) one on the right and a swipe right factory reset. Which one you have to do?

Well if the guide is well written and you follow the steps there is no way you can harm your device.this happens only when you do something wrong

Because the guide is not intended for noobs but for People who know what they are doing, it is not a step by step whit the exact button to press or what kind of data format you need to perform once you installed twrp and this confuse people

I read somewhere else on this forum that it is not recommended to install twrp as it leads to partition error and potentially you can hard brick your phone
