I had the same issue on rooted Lavender (RN7). I had Titanium backup installed; when I checked it I saw that Mi Health was present but "Frozen". I defrosted it and it worked. I don't know if this will always work, or if ther are other solutions. HTH

I'm using face unlock on Redmi Note 7; it continued to work as normal after dirty update to 20.7.9, I didn't touch anything. (But fingerprint unlock hasn't worked for a long time, after deleting fingerprint to see if adding it again would help, I have always been unable to add a fingerprint.)...

One thing to check is the OrangeFox version; older versions have encryption issues. Make sure you're using the latest one. I'm not a raphael user myself, so can't say more. HTH

With Lavender, updated to 20.7.2, I do not have either of these issues; control center is fine, and I can read and write a USB memory stick. Make sure to restart if you haven't done so; after an update I have known issues to arise which disappear on reboot. Maybe clear cache.
