Btw, this rom (or v6) works wonders for the Mi2s screen. The colors are more vibrant, screen is crisper. The Mi2 screen 'xperience' comes soo much closer too the Mi3/Mi4 Or am I mistaken, but it really seems to be true?

Hi, I (gf of lekzzz) am using a Mi2s TDB: enabled sys1: WiUi V6 KK 4.10.10 sys1: MiUi V5 JB (xiaomi.eu_multi_aries_4.9.26_v5-4.1) It runs fine, except, it seems that not all of my apps can be restored on WiUi V6. It seems only because lack of ram/space. So the V6 eats more RAM than V5? I...

Apparently you need to do it via FastBoot and MiFlash (but it's Windows and I have a iMac...)

V6 on Mi2: Didn't work for me. Recovery mode. I side/uploaded zip. Pointed to it. Reboot. How I normally update. Perhaps there is more to it. EDIT: I swiped everything (phone was already empty anyway) but it won't come out of recovery. Changing back to V5 = all nice again.

I have miui 4.9.26 running... Only issue seems I can't download Google from MiMarket. Or is that just it? If I manually install framework and play, it says no internet connection. (while I have and works) I pointer to where to start would be appreciated. I do undersstand it's not the right thread.

Where can I find a rom for a M1 (not S, not redmi) or a guide... or anything. Can't find proper names, or all sorts of trouble after installing. English is fine, giude would help also.

I've stil got a problem with GPS fix, Mi4w. I can't use Google maps, Waze or other navigation/location apps :(

It's just not clear. That's why I was posting a question about it. Sure I would love it to be, but yes it could be a 'legend' too. Just was trying to shed some light on this. I agree, that someone probably would've hacked it by now. But also... why are there Mi3's out there with 8974 and 8274?

Did you read what I posted? Yes most Mi3 have 8274, but I have 8927. I ordered one of the first Mi3 out there, which coheres with the other references. I will add some screenshots, maybe that helps. As you can see, (apparently) the chip are 8927, which is - apparently - the same (!) chip in...

Yesterday I installed the latest WIUI, it's indeed an extreme batterydrain. I'ts about the latest MiCoreKernel, I tried it with Miui and it's the same drain :(
