Did you get into down load mode? I could only get into download mode via stock recovery, the screen was blank when selected. I've bricked my quite a few times messing around with root apps, always revived it using that method. Sent from my Redmi 3 using Tapatalk

Definitely didn't work for me, root genius updated and just said it was adding the device soon. I've had to miflash the previous rom, that rooted easily. Luckily I had a titanium backup of all my apps so just a bit tedious getting settings back. Sent from my Redmi 3 using Tapatalk
