Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime

I have Google Chromecast II and the Redmi Note 2 Prime (5.10.22) works fine as a remote for the apps on the Chromecast, but casting the complete phone's screen doesn't work. It returns with a message like this phone isn't optimized for it? Anyone know why? Tips?

I updated straight from 5.10.8 to 5.10.16 to 5.10.22. Just used the updater app with XRN2 Prime. Maybe the idea is just to skip 5.10.15. Or if you have 5.10.15 to first downgrade to 5.10.8, and then upgrade to 5.10.22 from there? Please understand it's just an idea, I haven't tried it........

I don't understand why we would have to use twrp at all, I just downloaded the ROM and used the updater, easy peasy .......

do we need to wipe anything on XRN2 after flash from 5.10.16 (with updater)?? Update went OK, no errors so far..... hope the battery life is better now!

I'm on 5.10.8 on my Redmi Note 2. Can I download 5.10.16 Hermes and update through the phones own updater app?? Is it safe now guys? Or better to wait?

If you mean Android 5.1.1, then where do you see Android 5.1.1 in MIUI7, V5.10.8??? Mine (XRN2) tells me it's 5.0.2.....!

For now I use fixed brightness, but auto would be prefferred.....
