China 7.2.9 based ROM added. Re-download Toolbox (flashing tool) also.

Upcoming official OTA for China dev based ROM will remove all features including root added by me. So not apply OTA. If it'll be applied automatically, don't worry and wait for next week. You will need to re-flash new ROM I'll publish next week. Device reset will not be required.

When your device booted into fastboot mode, have a look into device manager. Maybe something wrong with driver. Then update drivers from Drivers/Xiaomi subfolder inside the Toolbox.

If you will use original Xiaomi.eu via TWRP, you will loose some stuff and root, that included in my version.

In settings, installed apps, all apps, find Notes, click, then clear data/cache.

Which version you are using now? Fastboot ROM was also based on Xiaomi.eu? For the first - take fastboot ROM based on China dev, provided by me and flash it over your existing ROM. Then test notes. If it works, then take fastboot ROM based on Xiaomi.eu, provided by me and flash it over China...

Do not forget to apply fix for buttons, to be able to enter recovery/fastboot...

So. Your problem is, that you got via OTA full ROM, because I was sick last week and didn't updated version. That's why all features are lost. After flashing this version you will get updates every week and all will be fine. What you should do: wait till the evening. I'll upload new version and...

That's strange. Are you shure your cable is OK? If cable is ok, I would try to reinstall drivers. You can find them under Drivers folder and I would use Xiaomi drivers from there.

From my perspective, such ROM not exist. I'm using China dev based ROM with weekly OTA. It's stable for me and I don't care about update or not. Just applying OTA. If you need any other then Eng language - you have no choose. It's Xiaomi.eu. I don't use "stable" ROM at all. What kind of ROM you...

OTA working only for China dev based ROM. For the rest, you should not use updater.

That's look strange. When you wiped data and went through setup, you were asked to add your Google account. Did you got error at that moment or? How this error appear after 2 days? You installed something? Note, that you need to restart device twice after first boot waiting 5 min each time.
