    Auto updates would pose a security risk, there's always a balance between usability and security. I think keeping track of the forum and even the updater app is a good balanced method.

    If you're into it I guess you can extract the apk and input your own fingerprint to use it without root.

    That's exactly what PIF module does. And you can choose what you want to use. The APK is a user friendly method that does not require root access.

    Chiteroman (play integrity fix dev) suggests to add all gms processes to deny list. I can now pass integrity with magisk and without PIF installed.

    Not sure but after updating the app it doesn't seem to work with root/magisk. Even with PIF module removed it fails play integrity. Had to use Titanium to find the app(?) and clear it's updates, then use PIF again to pass.

    No it doesn't, you don't need strong integrity (bootloader) for Gpay.

    I guess the app does the same as PIF by spoofing the device fingerprint for play integrity, ut won't affect magisk itself. The dev already said if you remove all updates from the app you can still use PIF and thus Magisk

    The build number will likely be the same, its a rebuild of the same build. Just check back at the mirror for your device rom.

    Not a rom problem, read into how PIF v14 works. You have to insert a working fingerprint yourself. The apk refered to above does the same thing.

    No it doesn't, the 13.9 fingerprint is banned. Might take a bit till it updates on your device but it's no longer valid.

    Update PIF to v14 and place the pif.json from the telegram group in root/data/adb Then reboot. https://t.me/playintegrityfix/24963 It's a for now working fingerprint supplied by the PIF developer.

    V13.9 is broken again. You can update to v14 but are required to input a working device fingerprint yourself. Perhaps we can share any working solutions here since it is likely less public than the XDA module forum
