I checked Play Integrity from the developer options in the Playstore and it says basic and device, on the previous PIF version it reverted to just basic. Maybe you need to sync or clear the cache for it to work again

FYI the PIF module requires another update as Google banned older fingerprints yet again. After updating and a reboot the basic and device integrity will pass again.

Yeah HyperOS won't make a difference, it's Google that changes it server side. In fact the weekly HyperOS releases with the fix already suffer from it, and Google pay is unavailable on those releases for now.

It saves you a step for when you do run into problems. But apart from that, not if you can live with just basic integrity now. Google pay won't work and certain apps like Netflix will show as unavailable in the Playstore.

I wouldn't use an older build, they are deprecated due to the Google changes on safetynet/play integrity.

Ouch, filesystem changes do indeed wipe the data, that's a hard lesson. You were probably using an incompatible TWRP version. Yes that procedure is correct. You can also flash the magisk apk in recovery, it's the same process as flashing the image. Do refer to the guide posted here though.

They split the strategy between weekly and stable to offer both solutions. Now that you've chosen for the dev and it gets fixed (as expected) you're complaining. Switch to stable branch or wait for the weekly update.

And you can hide root for banking apps. It takes more time to wipe and go back to the official rom than to root really.

You need to patch the boot.img, it will then be placed in the download folder on your phone.

Correct. MIUI 14 weeklies have been deprecated. The included fix for weeklies is valid starting from HyperOS releases.

I think the modem issues have been resolved. I no longer need to flash the global modem after the stable rebuilds to fix the gpay issue. Also, I see reports of the same behaviour of the new HyperOS weekly where the modem works by default and flashing the other modem is not needed.

It was fixed but Google changed it again. The new builds are rolling out now, check back later for your device. With the new build you can use Play integrity fix

No there's HyperOS dev rom for select devices. Stable builds will be reuploaded
