New POCO F5 PRO call problems

You can flash it with both TWRP or fastboot, whatever you prefer.

New POCO F5 PRO call problems

Yes. Just the global modem file is also shared in this thread, saves the hassle of downloading the full global rom.

New POCO F5 PRO call problems

I think just a flashable zip to be manually flashed after a rom update that installs the modem will be fine. Then you can download the rom itself from xiaomi.eu. Probably safer too since there's less space to hide anything unsafe. I used to be a recognized developer too so can help with it if...

New POCO F5 PRO call problems

Well but the user will know which rom to flash since they bought either a Poco or a Redmi device. Now everyone with a Poco F5 Pro installs the Mondrian build but is left with a device that is no longer usable as a phone without flashing the global modem themselves.

New POCO F5 PRO call problems

Well since the modem is used in official Poco F5 Pro roms it seems pretty certain it will work. It isn't that much work at all honestly. They are now supplying a rom that is not functional as a phone for most phones with the code name Mondrian.

New POCO F5 PRO call problems

@ingbrzy Would it be an option to make this possible, just like with the Redmi Note 11? Or a TWRP flashable of the modem.zip so it can be used on the Poco F5 Pro. As for now the K60 roms aren't compatible with the Poco F5 Pro. It may become a bigger issue once more users purchase the device...

New POCO F5 PRO call problems

The Redmi Note 11 had a similar issue where the Global and Chinese variants used different NFC hardware. This was fixed by seperating the Chinese and Global model with different roms, see: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-14-stable-release.67685/page-116#post-695274 This would probably...

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

Your TWRP is probably outdated that's why it shows 0 MB storage. Check if it's for the same Android version.

Well that looks fine. The red lines in TWRP are a known bug and can be ignored.

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

There have been some reports it has been fixed in the new stable build: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/notification-issues-in-miui-14.68157/page-3#post-691997

    MIUI 14 23.4.10

No issue with Magisk and Universal safetynet fix installed so far.

    MIUI 14 23.4.10

It was just a honest question, no need to reply in such a matter. The F3 is one of the most popular devices so it's not special privileged but do realize a community needs it's users in order to be effective. Fair point in not doing so either way.

    MIUI 14 23.4.10

Yes that's a common problem with the Snapdragon 8 gen1 SoC, it overheats too fast.

New notification issues in miui 14

That's good to hear, makes Stable a viable option to switch too in the future as weekly updates are coming to an end.

    MIUI 14 23.4.10

Yeah but the 7+ gen2 is a significant upgrade over the Snapdragon 870. It scores over 1 million in Antutu and is built on 4nn which makes it more efficient. Better battery and camera with OIS as well.

New notification issues in miui 14

    Due to the new build?

    MIUI 14 23.4.10

The Poco F2 got MIUI 14 so it could be possible.

    MIUI 14 23.4.10

As far as I know stable still has notification issues, haven't seen any confirmation it's fixed in the latest build. I'll stick to the latest Dev for now since going to stable would be a downgrade, but it's a pity the weeklies are being discontinued.
