    Installed 7.2.23 today. No issues so far. There are no big differences, we'll have to wait for Miui 9 to see them. But I think it's stable and battery life is good. Don't forget to unlock your bootloader after the upgrade.

    I'm with Xiaomi.eu 8.2.1.0 stable. I've received today the SMS with unlock permission. I'll install CN developer with miflash tool and proceed the unlock. Do I need to wipe "system" too when installing the Xiaomi.eu rom with twrp?

    Ok, but with China rom we don't have Google store, and we will be full of that chinese apps. Did you install Google Store on CN 7.2.16 before you proceed with the unlock?

    I If you go from stable to weekly it's better to wipe data also but the reverse you don't need to. I'll stay on last stable and wait... :)

    You can install 6.12.22 or stable 8.1.3.0 if you want and keep your bootloader unlocked. Android 7 will relock again.

    I think you are opening the wrong file. You have to search the folder named "recovery" inside that zip.

    I did all the steps above and installed stable 8.1.3.0. If you install Android 7 again, you will relock your bootloader.

    If you flash 7.2.9 it will lock your bootloader again and erase twrp. And i think it's not possible to install twrp with locked bootloader.

    I think it's because android does a "clean memory" after 5 minutes. Try to lock it on memory and see if it works.

    I only use developer rom, so I can't say if it is on stable too. With 6.12.22 SOT it's not so good like previous versions ( +- 4h)
