Yes, but I have to report something: even though I turned on the "aply on boot" the changes turn back to default - core top speed plus governor, I change this settings and some time later they get back to default.
Looks great. Well, I am going to take a while to get there - to understand all the parameters of the phone to count, all Governor settings, all the reading. But I will get there eventually (using my little spare time)...! For now I wish I could explore and understand the Kernel Adiutor a little...
It might be useful to say that messing with Governor parameters should be done carefully, with a lot of reading.
Also you have to root your phone, which can be done by installing SuperSu from recovery (TWRP). If you are not a Linux guru, you will need also an app to get to the Governor...
Heat problems devide miui users, as well as Mi4C users.
Some have heat problems while others do not. Even though a "hot phone" is a subjective concept, it is commonly accepted that a phone running above 40 degrees celcius becomes unconfortable.
When I started using Miui 8 I also started to get...
Well everything is fine with my Mi4C, including the battery consumption. Couldn't tell the difference. Regarding the charging time I can't say - I do it during the night.
I live very well without SuperSu. I only needed root access once in the "old days", in order to flash TWRP with Flashify. And by that time the rom was rooted.
No problems with 6.5.26...! Couldn't tell the difference for any other rom I've used.
- But I always try to keep the 6 cores away of too much work, and the screen turned off most of the time.
Please guys, report those issues also in the Mi4C sub-forum. There is a thread called "weekly update", share your experiences also there, please...! Thanks...!
Guys, there is a sub-forum dedicated to Mi4C weekly updates issues. If you keep opening a sub-forum for each issue you have, soon the Mi4C sub-forum will became a mess like others. We cannot find information... it's all over the place...
There is a forum dedicated to Mi4c, and a sub-forum dedicated to weekly updates issues. It would be nice if you could report also there. The Xiaomi.EU forum is very large and there is to much information all over the place. Thanks...!
Ok, thanks! I think I will wait for the new one that's about to come out from here.
How do you avoid TWRP automatic ROM intallations...??? Last week was 2.8.7.3 by WinTeam... do you make changes in the ROM zip file...?
