Ok, so let me see if I understand what is going on (at least for the Mi4c): 1- each ROM update has its own automatic TWRP installation - in one step it replaces the ROM and the Recovery. 2- Now, after each ROM update, some devices lose the ROOT access and we should install an app called SuperSU...

Precisely, it depends from which ROM you are coming from. If you're coming from a ****** ROM you may find the 6.2.25 the best of the world. And thats the point: each ROM should have been better than the previous one... but in the real world that's not what happens. You never know what's coming...

Yesterday I read someone who wrote that the 6.2.25 was the best ROM regarding battery. Others say that it was the 5.11..., others say that the 6.1.28 was the best. It would be very nice if we were able to understand this mess. Because it is a mess...

I wish there was a device with a battery that with intensive use would last for more than one day. If you hnow please tell me. Here you have a 5 inch screen, 50% bright all day long, playing games, bluetooth, Internet all day long, 1 sms every minute... Guys that use iPhones will have all this...

So from now on we will have a double flash process (ROM + recovery), everytime... does not sounds good. Double chances of something goes wrong and we no longer choose the recovery version we want. Enviado do meu Mi-4c através de Tapatalk

In the first page of this thread, "Changelog" section, there is this note: "Mi4c / MiNote PRO (Root doesnt work, install SuperSU via TWRP)" Perhaps the Mi4W is also afected by this issue...?

Both TeamWin and Team Superluminal upgraded TWRP for version 3.0.0.0. I use the TeamWin 2.8.7.0 with no problems. I think version 2.8.7.1 was not from TeamWin. PS: I use the app flashify to flash the TWRP imagem file. Assuming that the phone have root privileges.

As far as I know, developer ROMs from Xiaomi.eu do not lock anything...! So if you already have your device rooted it will remain like that... developer ROMs, like that one 6.1.28.

Not sure if I understand what you mean: Flashify needs root permission that you can give through the "Security" app - like in the video. So there is something I do not understant you are triyng to say. Feel free to write in spanish if it is easier for you: there are some experts here who do...

My TWRP is from TeamWin. At Team Super Luminal they do a lot of stuff for Mi4C (ROMs, Packs and Recoverys). I wonder why...? It looks great though... We'll see... PS: support doesn't look that great though...

I had some concerns about this : "Recommended for use with TS CM13, TS CM12.1 and TS PAC-rom 5.1.1" But if you say that all went well thats good news. TWRP 2.8.70 usually would not reboot my phone - it would freeze. But not anymore after 6.1.21 update.
