sometimes magisk mod causes that another sec patch is displayed, maybe it was about that too.. nvm, dont know what it could be xd

have you installed any other weekly with miui 11 after that?

just in case, i'd sugget after you unlock install twrp and format data (remember to boot into recovery here), copy and flash lastest miui 10, format data again and then finally copy and flash 9.10.17.

why dont you just flash twrp with .bat file?

you say directly after unlock bootloader, just have to format data and install lastest stable (miui 11) and works too ?

dont know exactly, but you can try flash some rom with EDL. go to the Mi 8 forum so someone can give you a link to download a proper rom

those strange folders i think have to do with the encryption.. that's why you format data after install TWRP i think

once you installed 10.3.15 and then 9.8.1, you can install directly 9.9.26? i mean, no need to wipes data before/after install 10.3.15?

nowadays can be installed in MI A2 without using HEX kernel?

dont know why, but i cant get the whatsapp notif silenced if in the phone notifications have any ringtone. i had to disable them both. maybe its a whatsapp thing, i upgrade both (whatsapp and rom) version at the same time, dont know which one made that change
