After update, some apps lost permissions and granting them is impossible, as the setting don't stick. Only thing that helps is uninstall and reinstall the app, but for some it is very complicated to fix (family link for instance, sometimes needs to clean install to be set correctly, a very time...

Same for me, I noticed yesterday. Everytime I ordered Uber car, it started to lock screen and turn on and off the screen. Only reboot solves it. Weird

same here (also Mi 8), hotspot gives error message only on 5 GHz, works ok on 2,4 GHz.

Mi8 Dipper, still cannot get rid of Bluetooth bug that was reported several times from different android 10 devices. Clean installled twice and thought I nailed it, but the goddamned bug appeared again this morning after resuming from automatic flight mode. I think this is a bad kernel module...

I did not wait for you answer and went ahead with clean install. At least Bluetooth bug is solved now, as well as notch thing. Still some apps need to be reinstalled from scratch and after all is set up I will see what gives.

I can confirm the bugs on my mi8, the most annoying is the Bluetooth bug. There is another annoying bug, that prevent apps access to notifications after each reboot. So android auto or Garmin connect or whatever cannot access notifications, it has to be disabled and re-enabled after each...

There's a reason it's called beta. Stick to the stable branch and you'll only get new bugs once a month or so...

If you are not using your phone you will get an error that you did not use your phone long enough and it will not unlock bootloader. So my advice is to use it normally for a week, it's no biggie...

You can't. But you can hide notch to see all notifications. Settings > full screen display > hide notch

Working great on Mi8 so far, also many thanks to Devs for reverting the buttons' design, it looks much better than Google version.
