What ROM version do you have on your Redmi 3?

Can someone check the notification led color on redmi 3 while charging? I got new redmi 3 pro, immediately flashed to stable EU ROM V7.3.1.0.LHPCNDD and now I see the led is yellow during charging. On older models it was red until 50%, blue up to 80% and then green.

Did you turned it on? I tried 5.4.2 and it was working a little different than in V5. You have to first run some app which would complain to have no root access. Only then in security settings this app would show in a list and you could enable root for that app.

Your procedure is not much simpler than extracting original boot.img and adding init.d support. Proces is already documented in detail on xda. No need to mix foreign boot.img into rom.
