    Install Googles Gboard or your own favourite keyboard from Playstore. IIRC you can switch finnish from default pinyin keyboard, but it's not very good. I haven't tested any custom roms yet, i like MIUI. Will put Xiaomi.eu after it's released.

    Xiaomi.eu comes after it gets MIUI 10. Official Global rom is not coming.

    Usually weeklies start rolling after developer rom is released, Mi Pad 4 developer is still MIUI 9.

    Not in MIUI by default, you could install some other launcher like Nova to get app drawer. Xiaomis new Poco Launcher will have app drawer, it will be released 29. this month.

    MiFlash is way to go back to 100% official, but nowadays you should also be able to install .zip rom version with TWRP.

    Buttons are in same order in english MIUI, you could try to do it side by side with another Xiaomi device. You might need to connect to wifi network first.

    What i've read it can ease up many jobs, but i've never tried it. (MiFlash did not work last time i needed it with Redmi Note 5, got "Length cannot be less than zero." error, had to do all flash_all.bat commands manually with fastboot.)

    MiFlash (Xiaomi MIUI ROM Flashing Tool, also installs drivers) Xiaomi Official Unlock App Android SDK Platform-Tools (adb & fastboot) Official TWRP - Xiaomi You should be able to do everything with these. (Except Mi 8 TWRP is not yet official.)
