    Xiaomi.eu 8.1.9.0 Stable

Hi all, Xiaomi.eu 8.1.9.0 Stable has just been released! Many thanks to the .eu devs who made it happen :-) Haven't installed yet, has anyone? How is it? Specifically I'm interested in: - General performance, multi-core performance (mpdecision) - GPS performance - Fixes for known problems...

    Stable Rom 8.1.7.0

I can see threads on miui.com asking for links to these versions, they were immediately moderated and links removed. Anyway, this confirms that even these versions (and 8.1.7.0 as well) are still in very early beta status, they are being tested by a small group of selected people, and probably...

    Clean Install - Redmi 3s 3/32

Is it safe to wipe /system on Redmi 3s? Don't you also wipe /efs partition (where your IMEI is stored, and thus vital for cellular communication) by doing that? I'm asking because I also have a Mi 5, and that's what happens if you manually wipe /system...

Mi5 Rom Nougat Only 2 Cores Working

Besides synthetic benchmarking utilities like AnTuTu, resource-intensive games are some of the most sensible indicators of device performance. Has anyone noticed degraded gaming performance after upgrading to nougat on the Mi5? I don't do gaming on my phone *and* am still on Marshmallow 8.1.6.0...

Mi5 Rom Nougat Only 2 Cores Working

No, 6.12.29 for Mi5 is definitely Nougat. You can see it right there on the file name: xiaomi.eu_multi_MI5_6.12.29_v8-7.0.zip The 7.0 just before the .zip indicates the Android version (Nougat in this case, Android 7.0).

    8.1.5.0 Stable

At long last, the changelog for 8.1.5.0 was published. It only mentions system security improvements, nothing else. Still, very nice!

    Stable Rom 8.1.7.0

The more I read about 8.1.7.0... The more I like 8.1.6.0 :-) Seriously, 8.1.6.0 has been, in my experience, near perfect. Very fast, good battery, etc.

    Problems With Xiaomi Mi5

Hi, it seems you have a fake, adware-infested ROM on your device. All of this would be solved by installing xiaomi.eu; look around on these forums, you'll find several guides for doing so. Also, please post in english, you'll get more attention around here :-)

    Best Stable Marshmallow Rom

Um, you have a Mi Max. This is the Mi 5 forum. Stable version numbers are not always the same for different devices. Better ask in the corresponding forum for your phone.

    Best Stable Marshmallow Rom

I think the same. 8.1.7.0 China Stable has not been published as official stable version for download on miui.com (as of this writing, latest China stable available for download is 8.1.6.0), nor is there any mention of 8.1.7.0 in any official thread on that forum. I think it's still a beta, and...

Does Anybody Use V8.1.7.0 For Mi5 Yet?

I'm still very wary to use 8.1.7.0. It looks like a limited beta to me; it isn't an official China Stable ROM release, there isn't any thread about its release (not even in beta status) on miui.com... I really wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this ROM as a daily driver yet...

Xiaomi.eu Multilang Rom For Xiaomi Mi5 (unlocked Bl Only!) Released!

Yes, that's pretty much it. Check this post, it has another guide on flashing xiaomi.eu (some steps differ a bit, but the gist of it is the same). Read there about a possible complication you might have with encrypted storage, and how to work around it.

    Best Stable Marshmallow Rom

I'm using the latest xiaomi.eu release, Stable 8.1.6.0. Works pretty well for me.

    8.1.5.0 Stable

Even though there still isn't any changelog for this release, the miui.com downloads page lists China Stable 8.1.5.0 as the latest release version. So, I finally bit the bullet and installed it. Looks OK so far, haven't noticed any particular changes yet. It has december Android security patches.

Xiaomi.eu Multilang Rom For Xiaomi Mi5 (unlocked Bl Only!) Released!

8.1.6.0 is the latest released Marshmallow xiaomi.eu ROM, which in turn is based on 8.1.6.0 China Stable official ROM, but with all the cool stuff the .eu team adds over it (including multilanguage support). Yes, you install .eu ROMs using TWRP. Using the "Install" option, navigating to the...

Xiaomi.eu Multilang Rom For Xiaomi Mi5 (unlocked Bl Only!) Released!

Hi @Tl00ps ! Welcome! You *must* manually install TWRP prior to flashing xiaomi.eu. There are several posts with instructions about how to do that in here. About a ROM version with Marshmallow, latest version is 8.1.6.0 Stable, or if you feel like trying the weekly dev version, I think the...

    8.1.5.0 Stable

I'm almost certain there *was* a beta announcement for this ROM briefly on MIUI forum... But then it disappeared... Weird... I think I'm sitting this one out until the official changelog gets published...

    8.1.5.0 Stable

I know it's available for download, but I can't see the corresponding china stable ROM announcement on the en.miui.com forum.

    8.1.5.0 Stable

Hi all, does anyone know what's up with 8.1.5.0 Stable xiaomi.eu, released yesterday? I'm almost sure that I saw a thread yesterday on en.miui.com forums to receive feedback for that china stable version (still in beta), but today I can't find that thread, it seems it was deleted...
