You don't say what phone you have. I always close all apps, clear all Recents, and clear cache and Dalvik before I update. I rarely get any problems.

You do not describe what it is that you have tried. What works for me, for maybe a day, is running the temporary adb fixes.

It depends what ROM you have at the moment. You may want to read this earlier post which explains about a change of ROM. If you are only upgrading from an earlier weekly HyperOS ROM, then you probably only need to update using 'windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat'.

You do not say what phone it is. What version of TWRP have you installed, and have you installed it using the correct commands? Because it is a hybrid ROM, you can also unzip it and install it via Fastboot.

I have nothing on my phone of a similar name.

I cannot comment regarding the temperature. For the Gallery crashes you can run the temporary adb fixes. If Wallet is not working, you can install the latest apk (2024.01.15).

My Wallet is working fine. Have you installed the latest apk (2024.01.15)? I was advised to reboot after installing it.

Just tried a charge - no saving options. It did not work. I stopped it at 96%. :(

This has not come up with me (I do not use the app anyway). I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago with another system app. I just ignored the error each time, and the following week it stopped appearing.

When are the date formats going to be corrected? I have gone through settings and made sure that everything is English (UK), but still most dates appear as m/d or mm/dd. Nearly all European standards are dd/mm/yy - or variations of it. It is very confusing with many dates appearing in the wrong...

The probability is that you have not turned on the 'USB debugging (Security settings)' switch as well as the 'USB debugging' switch.

I've turned on the 'Charging auto-disconnect' - set to 80%. (I might put it up to 90%). But what is the reason why this will not work when either Battery savers are on?

I restarted and contactless in Wallet worked fine. I don't often use Google Pay, so won't be able to check that.

Just tried a payment with Google Pay, and it didn't work. This was not using contactless. It could of course have been the app. I'll be trying contactless a bit later.

It doesn't work in Firefox either. So maybe it's a browser 'thing' that doesn't allow you to do a scrolling screenshot.
