Yes, it could... If you only have that problem, it's a minor thing, if I were you I would keep it, and wait for the next update. Sent from my Redmi 2 (2014813) using Tapatalk

Sorry to hear that... I guess I will skip this update too (I'm 2 versions behind). Sent from my Redmi 2 (2014813) using Tapatalk

No, that's not the rom for your device, that's the one for my device. Mine is Redmi 2 (without the "note"), 4.7 inch screen; Your device is Redmi Note 2 (almost a tablet sizewise, lol). Sent from my Redmi 2 (2014813) using Tapatalk

Did exactly what is described in the first post here: http://en.miui.com/thread-46859-1-1.html Didn't work the first time, so I forgot about it, but later I found someone to who it worked, so I repeated it, and it worked. I have working hotspot since that, many months ago. Read it carefully...

In the sound settings, you have to turn on "vibrate on silent mode" (at least on my model): Sent from my Redmi 2 (2014813) using Tapatalk

If it was me, concerning this reason, I would rather use Tasker and try to setup a profile that would turn airplane off after alarm xD Anyway, I get your point. Sent from my Redmi 2 (2014813) using Tapatalk

Just out of curiosity, can I ask why some of you guys turn the phone off when going to sleep? I mean, what's the benefit? I only put it in airplane mode, and only lose 1 or 2% of battery... Turning phone off before sleep was something I used to do before having android phones... They didn't...

Weekly ROMs only give you OTA update of a new weekly, while Stable only give you another Stable. One don't give you OTA update of the other, so it's normal. To change between weekly and stable or vice versa, you would first have to manually install the new rom with wipes - then you would start...

You must have a rooted device, and use one of various calibration apps that exist. What it does is to delete the configuration file from the battery, and then create a new one. Follow its instructions. Sent from my Redmi 2 (2014813) using Tapatalk

It's obviously a bug, not a real discharge... Either the starting 99% weren't real, or the final 33% weren't real... Or both. Might be a problem with the battery configure file (don't know it's correct name). I would try another charge, and if the problem continues, I would run a calibration on...

By the way, does someone here uses Tasker? Since some versions, my Tasker icon on top bar sometime disappears, then later reappears, etc... It behaves like it's turned off, them on again. Don't know if it was some update of the rom, or of the app itself that screw that up. Sent from my Redmi...

Something new I've learned today! [emoji4] Never tried, because for the previous androids I had (models from maybe 8 to 4 years ago), it was normal consensus that in Android devices you couldn't have alarm working if you would turn the phone off. Sent from my Redmi 2 (2014813) using Tapatalk

To my knowledge, any android phone won't have alarm if you turn them off... These are computers, if you turn them down, they won't do anything. Sent from my Redmi 2 (2014813) using Tapatalk

Yes... Download it, or simply wait. If nobody has been receiving OTA updates, it's because it's not been uploaded by the moderators... From what I heard, it's quite a task, time consuming. Sent from my Redmi 2 (2014813) using Tapatalk

Well we can't all be happy... I wish vibration would be stronger on mine. It's nowhere near the vibration I had on my previous HTC... I use a pouch pocket, and when it's in my pocket, if I'm moving around, can't feel it vibrate if it's only 1 or 2 vibrations (messages, interrupted calls, etc)...

Exactly, I forgot that location too: Where I told is the location to configure the details of the data use; Where graw2 said is where to define the limit size to use wifi/data on downloads. See which is preventing you to download and use data, and try to configure both to your context. Sent...

The OTA depends on availability of the administrators to upload then to the server... So it always take 3 to 6 days after it's available for download. (from my experience). Sometimes, rarely, it can happen that a new version is available for download without the previous one has ever been...
