I suspect that adjusting to 5x6 does not do that. At least for me it is the same as before upgrading.

You have to download a Recovery from here and install it. Then you can install or update the Rom release (stable or weekly) you wish, using that recovery.

I' m understanding that after displaying the letters and number fastboot doesn't get to flash the recovery image. If so: 1) Make sure you enter fastboot mode with the cable unplugged. 2) Launch the fastboot command and when it shows "waiting for device .." or so, then plug in the cable.

Maybe you have the battery mode set to battery saver? Settings > Battery and Performance Below the box showing the remaining time, there is a bar with three options. Check if you have the central one checked

TWRP for Mi 10T Lite includes an option to change Logo directly from the Recovery itself.

Do you have to install this custom TWRP recovery from @Camerado thread. I don't own such a device, so to solve any doubt or issue I suggest you use the search box using "cupid", "xiaomi 12" and "twrp" as keywords.
