I had that problem in mi mix 2s, today i fix it by reinstaling room, with full wipe of everything. After that i was able to add card. i don`t test if i am able to pay with so far, i will report asap if payment work I am not using Magisk.

I finally manage to add card to gpay. After 5 days of attempts to do so i again try extreme solution (don't work at first time). I wipe everything. Reinstall twrp, room from scratch. And finally gpay accept my card. Now i need only test if i can pay with it in shop. I dont have magisk

I try everything, go trough all solutions i could find on forum. Nothing work. I can scan my card in gpay but it not alow me to activate and pay with it in shops. I clean all data i can, i block restore data app after reinstalling. I reinstall Gpay (i use 84,83 and 82 version), Factory reset...

It is for sure gpay "issue". Users wih global and dev roms, users with and without root are reporting problems with gpay. So probably google will fix it (i doubt it) or MIUI.eu will find solution. I am personally on dev rom and lost ability to pay in shops last week. Try everything that was...
