Sorry, I missed that however I read every posts. It is pity that your issue is hardware related, I hope the replacement part helps. The problem was to switch off MTP in my case, I thought you did the same.

If you already have xiaomi.eu team's dev ROM then cache+davik wipe is enough. In other cases wipe data, as well. You can check it in 'About phone' menu, see 'MIUI version' part. If it says 'MIUI 7.3 by xiaomi.eu ...' than you dont have to wipe data.

Do you have spaces or special characters in the ROM path? MIflash does not like those. Try to place the ROM to C:\ before flash.

@Michael_K we were talking about MTP disabled in previous thread. I found the cause and the solution: we disabled MTP on notification area when USB was connected, that is why it is disabled and unfortunately the setting is unreachable to reenable again. I found an app for it and now it works...

I tested just now: 1458mA with a standard wall charger, according to GSAM Battery Monitor app. It is the same as earlier ROMs. What with you measure?

You are right! I have RN2prime with 6.3.31EU ROM and I can confirm MTP does not work. I tried in TWRP too, and neither works there. I dont use MTP feature, so I can not tell which ROM version was the point where MTP went wrong but it does. The cable and USB is OK, because when I switch ON ADB I...

I installed QuickPic and set as default gallery app, because the strikethrough cloud icons are annoying on stock gallery. I dont use mi cloud however I have am mi account. Optionally, you can freeze/uninstall stock gallery app by RootUninstaller, but be careful what to freeze/uninstall!

Open folder, tap folder's name! There is a switch to disable recommended apps on that folder.

Sorry, I used global ROM only on the first day. Next morning I installed TWRP and EU rom :) So I have no experince with global ROM.

You should try 5.12.24 eu rom. That was pretty good and this activation probem did not appear. Not up to date but you can use your phone and you will have time to find the previous owner.

I have not installed it yet because tomorrow I go to abroad and I really need my phone working. But I took a look inside hermes ROM zip file and there is twrp.img, so I guess TWRP is included in 6.3.11 as well.

I read about call volume problem in 6.3.3 Hermes ROM. Is it solved in 6.3.11 Hermes or still the volume too low? An answer would be appreciated from a RN2 or RN2Prime owner. Another question is which TWRP version is included in 6.3.11 Hermes? As I see twrp.img file size is different.

If you would not like to activate your device and this notification annoys you then install 'Root Uninstaller' app, start it, and Freeze 'Xiaomi Activation' system app. You must have root rights on your device to do it. Btw: be careful what to freeze/uninstall with Root Uninstaller!

I have RN2prime, it is almost the same as RN2, and here is not that serious battery drain. You should check what sucks your battery. I recommend to use GSam Battery Monitor app to go further.

It was always 0.05GHz lower than the value on About phone screen. Now the About phone screen got corrected. Maybe it displayed a rounded value before. So, your CPU freq is not decreased by this ROM.

Sensor reaction is enough fast. Check it with any light sensor app! Automatic backlight adjustment algorithm is annoying as hell. Too slow reaction, and when you switch the screen off and on again then it goes back to a constant (high) level and you have to wait appr 5 sec to get adjusted to...
