    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

You can try to fix the "too loud" problem by flashing one of the latest radio images from miui. It's in one sticky thread of this forum. It worked for me. Inviato dal mio MI2S utilizzando Tapatalk

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

I just tried it: it doesn't work. :( I can't say if the echo is more or less than before: everything seems fine, on my side, but my wife (on the other side of the call) says that "she hears me like before"... :-)

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

Thinking more carefully about what I did yesterday with the phone, according to your post, it *could* be that using the bluetooth car connection somehow messed up the mixer settings, but it doesn't seem to happen with the 29th build. The only audio "features" that I used, were poweramp (maybe...

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

My friend said he could hear his voice back after a short delay, so I would say: echo. My wife (on the landline) has not been so specific about the problem: she just said that she could not hear me properly until I was using the 29th build. Inviato dal mio MI2S utilizzando Tapatalk

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

Yesterday (with the last build) I called a friend on his mobile and, at first, he could not hear me at all. I tried 3-4 times, then I rebooted the phone and, after the reboot, he could hear me but distorted. Then I tried to call another friend on a landline number: again distortion. Tried, then...

No, I tested it with both: mobiles and landline numbers. Inviato dal mio MI2S utilizzando Tapatalk

The build from 29 seems to be ok.

I'm having the same problem with echo and the other party can't hear me properly... In spite of my tape... :-)

I had this problem in the past (with cm10.2). I "fixed" it by placing a piece of tape over the back microphone (beside the flash light). You can try to see if it is that or not by putting a finger right on the microphone while calling. I'm very interested in knowing if it's the same for you both...

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

Hello M1cha, how is this build related to the "test build"? I mean: does it contain the same changes to the audio subsystem or it still makes sense to keep using the test build for a while? Thank you!

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

Yes, after resizing the partitions, I only installed this rom in system1, nothing in system2. Do you think this message is related to system2, then?

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

@M1cha, @linuxx: is it normal that every time I exit the cwm recovery it asks me if I want to "root" the device? Aren't these roms already rooted?

[SCRIPT] Fix partition table for Android 4.4

I've being reading this whole thread once again, but still one thing is not clear to me: running this script will delete also the contents of the "data" or not? I mean: will I have to backup also the photos and all the other stuff?

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

Btw: is there a "best way" to upgrade from 10.2 to 11, or the only way is the "old" one (wipe everything, flash the new rom, reinstall everything)?

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

I know... I'm from Italy too. Coming back to the topic: do you mean that it is advisable to switch to cm11? I was afraid it was too early, maybe it still has some youth's bugs...

    [ROM][KK][4.4][2014-05-18] CyanogenMod 11.0

@linuxx: Thanks a lot for your help on keeping this rom updated, in the first place! Any plan to do the same for the 10.2? :) Actually, I'm trying to figure out how to compile it myself, but I'm afraid it will take a while... :-(

I think I've fixed the problem with the in-call volume by flashing the latest radio found in the appropriate sticky thread in this forum. I hope it is fixed: I just did a couple of trials. I don't know exactly how these two things are related to each other, but I think this problem started when...
