I started receiving a "device not supported" error on my mi2 today. I'm running cm11, play services 6.7.76. What is it about, and why all of the sudden it happens to me?

I dont quite understand if it is safe to move to mokee, Im afraid of continuing suffering from the phone call audio issues. aside from that, is it exactly the same home launcher? can I just backup and restore the data of what i have in cm11s?

Very frustrating, battery life is the worst with 100% Wakelocks. I almost migrated to mokee but it seems it appeared there too for some users

Disabling checkin service helped for a couple of days, but now checkin handsoff wakelock is present for 100% of the time

Why aren't you freezing checkin service? Is not working for you? For me, at start, I had some Wakelocks but then it stopped and for a while now everything is working ok

I tried installing the google play apk proposed here, yet with checkinservice enabled, I have the issue again and with it disabled, I have 100% wakelocks

I disabled only Checkin service and it immediately worked

Crazy. The last thing I'd suspect is google play, and even there, Checkin service? What the hell is it related to the mic/speaker during calls? I now go to return mx player and skype :-)

I removed Skype and nothing really changed. I had mokee before but moved to cm because it always installed some Chinese garbage I didn't need and felt it's not "clean" enough, so I moved to cm. Also I had some weird kernel Wakelocks, but eventually I get them with cm to so maybe it's irrelevant.

As far as I understand from the link proposed here, There's no solution. Im with stable version. Is there any reason to try the nighly?
