Mi4 Lte Ramdom Reboots [with Logs]

All three devices, Mi3, Mi4W & Mi4LTE, share the same baseband and most affected devices are the LTE model. Nobody seems to be complaining about reboots on CM13 and Mi3/Mi4W devices.

I've come to that conclusion. Just to recapitulate, you had no reboots on KitKat and have had reboot ever since the very first Miui betas based on MM? It's to try downgrading and testing basedbands.

In the time that you haven't had a reboot have you installed/uninstalled or updated any apps? Just read that somebody used their phone for a week without Sim card and had no reboots.

Alot of Miui devices had to merge their dual system partitions to accommodate the growing OS size but why is the Mi4 the only one affected? The Mi Note has very similar hardware to the Mi4LTE and has had no reboots before or after these system partition merges. Does anybody know if the Mi3 /...

You need to edit the flash_all.bat and add this at the top so it's the first thing that gets flashed. fastboot %* flash partition "%~dp0images\gpt_both0.bin" || @echo "Flash partition" && exit /B 1

I know, they'll kick you off the team. I haven't had a reboot on 6.8.4 either since restoring a backup and updating but I did check and they have capped cpu performance hard.

I'm inclining for partitions also but I've also been reading up on other devices that have had random reboot issues in the past like the OnePlus One, they had like four guys debugging and serching for the issue for a few weeks then they issued a radio driver update, also there was a problem when...

Not convinced about frequency/voltage problem but a bug in kernel that is not being found for some reason, something that kicks in when idle like trim or something. Mine has rebooted before while uninstalling or installing an app from the play store so maybe the assumption of the partition...

With 6.8.4 2nd & 3rd cpu core are permanately off no matter which profile you choose, balanced/performance. Performance profile puts 4th core to max freq while the 1st stays more or less idle. Don't know what they are doing but by the looks of it they think these reboots have to do with heat...

Does anybody know if all files in the rom get flashed when using twrp to install/update like modem, bootloader etc? I read that some only get flashed with fastboot roms but maybe it's not the case.
