give me the link to ROM file and I'll try to make the mod

I've tried to make this mod for Galaxy note MIUI 7 beta, but failed - it works, but the ROM is very buggy after applying the mod.

It depends whether android.policy.jar sources will be changed... In most cases, they are, so we have to rebuild MOD after each ROM update. I usually do this ASAP after new ROMs are published.

Try it, and please reply here whether this mod works or not for you.

It may vary on different tools and some sources used - different zip packer, different updater-script, different sign tool, even different update-binary. Also baksmali may repack android.policy.jar differently depending on its version and options.

Uploading mods for those ROMs that were mentioned in this post recently... Updates: * new "updater-script", taken from longer83's mod, should be more compatible with different devices. Thanks to him! * Also renamed to 3WayReboot as it actually is.

Great! Could you tell which permissions and owner/group have you set? I could add them into zip's updater-script. Note also that for owner/group I need numeric values.

Sorry, android.policy.jar is absolutely the same that I've used as a base to create the mod for Sensation. I also have a couple of questions: 1) Are you sure that the mod was installed correctly? 2) Does the mod have ANY effect? Or, after applying the mod, reboot option from menu works EXACTLY...

There is a small chance... I've found some changes that I can do with the mod... Maybe that'll help. Will post it in a day.
