I found out, that this only happens, when the new option to hide the notch is activated. Then, after a reboot, my google widgets are visible, but after the sync they vanish - maybe it's a rendering problem?

All my google calendar entries were gone - even in google calendar. Reinstalled google calender and now everything works well again (even sync). But I have no exchange account - perhaps reinstalling gmail helps. Edit: Google Mail Sync, seems to be bugy on this rom - after a while the entries...

Very fluent and seems to open up apps faster - thanks to the team. BUT xiaomi added a white transparent line in fullscreen mode, when you are using fullscreen gestures. It's visible all the time. The "Hide Notch" setting is still avaiable in settings search. Very weird - I want it back:emoji_cry:

I thought Mi8 has Anti-Rollback and rolling back can brick the phone - so it's possible anyway?

I also reinstalled the Rom via TWRP - not like darki with updater - and the notifications are still missing. Made everything as usual. It looks like, we have the Notch-Notification from Mi8 - there are also missing the symbols.

The same with Mi Note2 - so sad:emoji_worried:

For a closed beta release it's very stable, fluent and has good battery life. Have notifications problems - especially on lockscreen, but that will be fixed in upcoming releases as usual. So nothing to complain and thanks for the good work!

Audio AptX HD via bluetooth sounds amazing and would be a good reason to stay with xiaomi phones (now they dropped the headphonejack in newer phones). Is it implemented officialy by xiaomi or by xiaomi.eu?
