Another idea: the sound is somehow included in the dialer apk (which means you have to get used to that orrible sound ;))

guess you don't find the sound because it doesn't exist... At least in MY i9100 powered with 2.9.29!! I tried with 4-5 different call phones, all ended before the connection: no sound, not at all. Maybe it's theme-related, so try to change it and see if you hear it again: if not, then it's time...

Then I'm afraid it's at least an "only S3" issue. Suggest you send a feedback using the appropriate app... When the miui team comes back from their holiday will for sure have a look into your problem EDIT: I don't know if this can help, but have look here...

aren't these roms supposed to include italian lang too? 2.9.29 for galaxy s2 is eng (uk or us) and chinese (4 different langs) only. what am I missing

When I connect my Galaxy i9100 via USB to PC the sdcard is not detected (I can see only internal memory). When I'm in recovery, I can see the sd, which means it is not damaged. Can anybody help me to solve this? Thanks in advance EDIT: don't know what happened and why, but I SOLVED the...

not sure which files the 4-way goes to replace, so I guess the only way is to reflash the rom+lang pack+whatever you normally flash after un update (cm7mod.zip etc etc)

depends on which version and which phone. what I can tell u is that the last one I posted works on a Desire with either MIUI 2.3.2 or 2.3.9. BTW, go for a nand backup of your current rom and then try to flash it... If it works u'll see, if not, u can restore to previuos configuration.

restore a nand backup (hope you did it BEFORE flashing the mod), or (if you don't have a nand backup) reflash the rom
