On my Mi2, if anything the call volume is too high. Everyone in the room hears the conversation as well as I do unless I put it on like 40% or something. I'm using WIUI ROM though, not stock one, that may have influence.

Kit Kat is the codename for 4.4, not 4.3. There's no 4.4 ROM for Mi2 4.3 is Jelly Bean

For me this freezes at boot after install, with the Mi golden logo on the screen. Mi2 32GB, TDB enabled, factory reset + cleaned caches.

I can't really test it at the moment since I don't have any USB data cable, just fast charging ones with the data pins cut out. I hope the rest of the people are enjoying this though :p

Mi Recovery? Oh dear, just use CWM as it's way better.

Just flash the zip from inside CWM onto the system, there's nothing more to it. Those are the GApps for 4.2.2

Grab the apk from inside the zip and put it inside the system app folder, give 644 permissions and it should work.

I'm not using the Multilanguage one, but the messaging app is probably on the last homescreen. Just drag it back from there.

Look for "missing" apps in the last homescreen. For some reason they get pushed there.
