;) I'm aware it's still in beta. I had the data transfer turned on in the music app ( lyrics and cover art ) might also be part of the reason for the high batt. usage. BTW: The Lyrics function is really cool, now we can all do Karaoke on the bus :p

Looks like this new music app is really power hungry, 40 minutes of use and roughly 10% drain: And a litthe chinese btw. ;) Edit: Using headphones btw.

Khahn, do you need glasses? Look at the screenshot ffs, it's a .zip!!! If ppl then must change it to .apk well thats another story!

OMG? Not everybody here is as clever as you guys.... So maybe if the downloaded file is .zip don't expect everyone to know that it's just to change the .zip to .apk!! A good idea might be to just post it as .apk or detailed instructions of how to install, thus avoiding all the noob questions...

Rename the file to .apk and push via ADB ;) adb root adb remount adb push miui-music.apk /system/app/miui-music.apk Should do the trick :D

It's not like I hevent got it on my phone or havent tried reinstall.....
