    New HyperOS OTG

Additional settings -> OTG. It's disabled by default and it's greyed out while any USB devices (including charging cables) are plugged in. Enable it, then plug in the device

    New HyperOS OTG

I mean I can enable the setting without problems. I don't have any devices to test if it actually works tho Can you describe further, where exactly the problem occurs.?

    HyperOS 1.0 24.7.1

Running on MI 14 Pro (shennong) for about a day now. No problems so far. Thanks devs!

Customize the quick menu after unlock

Is there a way to customize the icons and Apps/functions available in the quick actions menu that pops up after unlocking with fingerprint? Is there a setting that im missing? Or do I have to manually edit some values? My phone is rooted so no problem, I just couldn't find anything related to...

    New Installer suddenly became Chinese

What exactly does it do? How does it "replace" the installer and with what?

    HyperOS 1.0 24.6.17/22

Did you come across any other issues on shennong with this weekly?

    HyperOS 1.0 24.6.17/22

I guess that's the "fix" that Xiaomi implemented for BT crashes on .6.17. Lmao I just love the boldness of Xiaomi devs

    Strong integrity

I'm not far enough into how play integrity works so I would know the exact reason, but I have read multiple times (from multiple different sources) that spoofing the STRONG_INTEGRITY tag is absolutely impossible as soon as you have an unlocked bootloader and/or a custom ROM.

    Xiaomi 14 Pro booloader unlock

I paid 70€ at ncunlock.com. It took a while until the server was online in time, but when it was, the process was finished in less than 4 Minutes. The guy will remote-connect to your PC and install a few apps so he can access your phone, so I recommend you to use a dedicated system for that and...

    HyperOS 1.0 24.5.20/21

Thanks for the reply. I just got it fixed, i guess my fastboot drivers were fcked (probably my own fault, didnt update them for about 2 years now). Terminated the console, tried to fix it with manual fastboot commands but since the firmware was incomplete, it refused to accept any fastboot...

    HyperOS 1.0 24.5.20/21

Shennong here; I'm a bit late to this version, when updating through fastboot, my device has now been stuck on sending the 7. part of super partition for over 10 Minutes. Has this happened to anyone before? Should I just terminate the console and restart the update? Or will I end up with a...

    HyperOS 1.0 24.5.6/7

Shennong seems pretty stable on this one, but the battery drain issue is still there. I have an overnight drain of about 10-15% on this weekly. On 24.4.15 (which I had before) it was about 2-3% maximum. While the phone is in active state, "Android System" makes 20-40% of the whole power...

    HyperOS 1.0 24.4.22

Just try it. If your bootloader is already unlocked, the batch file will install xiaomi.eu ROM. If it's locked, the batch will either show an error instantly or just close. It shouldn't be able to break anything afaik. If it's locked, you will have to wait, there's no workaround. (Actually...

    HyperOS 1.0 24.4.22

Was the same thing for me at the beginning. I had to choose the fastboot driver manually from device manager via the winusb.inf file inside driver package.

    How to uninstall hyperOS

Unlock bootloader, download the ROM you want (from sites like Xiaomi firmware updater or MiFirm) and flash it via fastboot. Done. Now relock your bootloader with miflash_unlock.exe (if you want to).

Locking bootloader to pass play integrity

Genuine question. I once did steps 3 and 4 while experimenting with my RN12, and after I locked BL it ended in a semi-hardbrick that I was only able to rescue via EDL. Is signing out the key to not getting a bricked device (so it's related to FRP)?
