Why do you need a recovery for rooting?? Just patch the boot.img and flash it via fastboot

Using the "flash all and lock" option usually bricks the device, don't use it. If you want to relock the device, use the miflash_unlock program you already used for unlocking.

No twrp and ROM for now. As about unlocking, depends if you got EEA or CN version. In EEA, we can use community unlock again afaik. In CN version, we still need paid services.

You're not supposed to touch any system apps on xiaomi.eu ROMs. That is because xiaomi.eu is based on Chinese ROM and everything is translated manually. Updating these apps would mess with those translations and probably also with the integrity to the rest of the system since global apps don't...
