Hi there not sure what versions you're flashing, but the latest Chinese ROMS I can find are here: http://www.miui.com/a-103.html I am experiencing no such issues as the ones you describe. I think 2.4.18 is just a typo, it is actually 2.4.20. Hope this helps.

Can anyone get Google talk working? All other apps have installed ok! Tried through apk and not available in the market. Weirdly it won't work through the IMO app either? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

IN I had the same problem and had to go down the MIFlash Chinese route. Latest ICS ROM here: http://www.miui.com/a-103.html One plus is you do get OTA updates! ;)

Same here, I haven't been able to get MIUIandroid.com ICS ROM's working so have had to go down this route. Think I may have buggered my phone "Over experimenting" ;) I recently Mi Flashed the latest 2.3.16 ROM. The majority of the ROM is in English, but there are still some parts in Chinese...

Mark, Just to let you know still can't get the phone to boot after the update. It just hangs on the gold M1 splash screen. I guess I'll just have to wait till the next release and give that a go. :( Thanks for your help anyway!
