you have to open up the widget settings. in the top right corner there is an edit icon. click it and disable "Enable GPS" (it only works in china) then click the + sign in the top right corner and addd your city (either by name or zip code) add as many as you want. Then go back to home screen...

The best thing to do is not worry about what happened. Just know that Miui-Dev is back online and we are all moving on. It's probably best to not speak of the issue that came about. The intention of this post wasn't to bring up that stuff. It was simply to show Mark some love, that's all. BTW...

The texas version of the app would not install. I dropped it into system/app and set permissions. Rebooted and it worked. Fantastic work Mark!

There already are a few. Miui gallery has different sizes for the native picture frame widget. There is the global search widget. The music app has 2 widgets. As far as the rest... Not sure about if/when that will happen.

There is no way anyone can tell you the likelihood of MIUI getting ported to a phone that's not even out yet. Also, a word of advice when/if you do get the Thunderbolt: If someone does decide to port MIUI and announces it, DON'T ASK FOR AN ETA. lol. Anyway, if it gets rooted and kernel sources...
