Did you activate API2 only by add the line? Is it not needed flash modded libs?

Try flash it again using TWRP and clear caches. If it does not help try install it using redwolf recovery.

Flash again using redwoft recovery. It fixed for me similar problem on global version

Could you try instant app in google store? Please search BuzzFeed app and click "Try it now". It should open instant app version. On my MI6 it opens browser :(

1. Open Google store 2. Make sure that in setting instant apps are enabled 3. Search BuzzFeed app 4. Click Try it Now 5. Web page will be opened instead of instant app.

I've problem with instant apps on mi6. I didn't try it on this phone earlier but now when I click "Try it" on play store it opens Google chrome instead of instant app. I tried the same app ( BuzzFeed) on my wife's s7 there it opens instant app correctly. Is it my issue or miui/xiaomi.eu?

It may be miui not xiaomi.eu issue.

If I understood correctly you cannot boot phone into recovery and normal boot. Did you try boot into fastboot?

Is you do not trust com.scottyab.safetynet.sample , you can do simply check. Add your debit/credit card to google pay. :)

Do you have pin code or password on lock screen? I had 8 numbers pin code but it isn't possible to set now. Maybe it was a access to DB problem.

Do you have similar issue to me with mi6 and 8.8.16? It brake a lot of apps. I can't downgrade to 8.8.9 because 8.8.9 has lower db version, so i had to do factory reset.

MI6 after update brake all apps. Cannot connect to SQL lite. I will try rollback to fix it. I'm afraid that i lost my data. EDIT: SQLlite engine is updated (i think so) after rollback i got more errors :( I have to do factory reset.
