Microphone stopped working again and had to restart.

Use the new builds ingbrzy just released today after the issue was identified, make sure to delete google app data and disable assistant voice before using the new roms.

Im on this build now , installed it as soon as it was released, used the update option, no format, with google app data deleted and assistant voice turned off, no issues so far, i turned assistant voice back on, solid until now

After applying the update can Voice match be reenabled or keep it disabled?

I would suggest you keep using it as long as possible before google/miui sign in to help identify if this is the root cause then after sign in let us know what happpened

Interesting find. did you flash the 3 available cn roms or only the DEV one? i wonder how the out of box experience with cn 14.0.1 update to 14.0.11 works fine though

Good to know. However i didnt restore any type of backups, after flash eu rom i do the following: During setup screen i sign to Google, no restore. then signin to Xiaomi account, no restore. I also tried MIUI Backup and restore after one of the times, didnt do any difference, same issues...

Maybe that's why you are not experiencing the issues since I guess all of us use / sign on with a Google account, regardless restore backup or not.

Install china fastboot rom, do you need to complete miui setup or as soon as it's installed , format and install EU rom?

After 1 day on DEV, its way more stable than the STABLE release, not without its own problems though, the autorotate is a hit or miss but its way better than STABLE. Stability overall is very good.

Same results using the workaround. Did not work with me. Trying to move to DEV now :(
