Just a quick update : I just realised that bln is actually working, but only for missed calls. It won't do it for sms. Strange.

Finally got siyah working. What I did was I flashed 3.1.2 first as advised by anuar, then I flashed 3.2.5. This worked fine. No wipes were performed at all. I still can't get BLN to work though. The test in extweaks works perfectly, but whenever I send a message to myself, I don't get the...

Thanks. Just to clarify though. MIUI works absolutely fine. I have no trouble installing it. Just the combination of miui with siyah doesn't work for me.

Thanks again. I have an SGS2 I followed your instructions to the letter and I still get the same result - stuck at bootscreen. It's very weird. Think i'm gonna have to abandon this. Massive thanks for you help.

Thanks for you help. The MIUI ROM is fine. It's definitely not the issue as the 2.5.4 version installs fine and runs. It's just that whenever I try to install siyah on top of it, it hangs at the "MI" screen while booting up. What order do you do things in terms of wiping and flashing siyah and...

Sorry to sound like a wally, but do you mean the siyah MD5? What should I check or compare it to? MIUI boots completely fine btw, just so long as I haven't also flashed siyah.

I did a reboot after the flashing MIUI and only then flashed siyah. Should I try to apply both zips at the same time? [EDIT] Just tried flashing them both at the same time (process wipe, flash MIUI, flash siyah), and it's hanging at the MI logo. What order did you do it in?

I'm trying to install siyah 3.2b6 on my sgs2 after installing but it's not working. I've tried two things: - without wiping - wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + wipe dalvik cache Both methods result in freeze at the "MI" logo. Anyone know where I'm going wrong?

How did you manage to get BLN working? I have downloaded several versions of siyah, bln and extweaks and no matter what I can't get it to work. What did you do and what version of siyah did you use? I should add that the test within the bln app does actually work, but when I receive a message...

Can you tell me if BLN is working for you? I tried siyah (i think it was a 3.1 beta) and I couldn't get BLN to work (i obviously downloaded the BLN market app). Also i found the touchscreen to be a little bit erratic too.

This happened to me last week. i just re-wiped and re-flashed and it worked.

What is automatic backlight? Is there a ROM that you've used before which supports adjusting it?
