If you update via OTA and you have this script loop , just update manually through twrp .. If you flash the rom through twrp and you have this script loop , try to change your twrp and flash again .. Try to clear data and cache from updater app too ..

No issues here with Poco f2 Pro , volte is enabled , regular sms works for me ( wind gr ).. Probably is connected with mobile provider at each country .. This issue ( to disable volte for using sms ) happened to Poco f2 Pro with Vodafone gr for example or other provider in my country..
