There is no twrp issue for CMI .. The newest twrp is here .. https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=10763459528675600239 You have to flash the twrp 1206 through fastboot or through your existing twrp .. Then you can update as you wish , you can enter twrp and choose Install , find the zip and swipe...

No , with CMI there's no issues with twrp , you can flash it and use it as usual .. You can use the 0623 or the newest 1206 and you will be fine..

You will not have decryption problems if you allready have a pattern and not a pin number.. you can go on easily ..

You have to disable fingerprints and pin numpers , only pattern works ..

Now you wrote what exactly do .. Go to twrp and reboot to system , disable all fingerprints and pin .. Then enter twrp again and you will see everything inside ..

Then try to connect your phone to pc as you are now in twrp , if you don't see anything you have to do a format data .. If you found "sdcard" folder and it's empty then you have to do a format data .. Nothing else works if data is encrypted .. Choose , Wipe / Format data / type yes and hit enter...
