    Xiaomi.eu rom for Joyeuse

AFAIK, beta ROMs are always based on the Chinese ROM. Devices like ours, (which have no Chinese variant), never get weekly betas.

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

Formatting is generally required when changing to a different ROM. Upgrading the same ROM generally doesn't require formatting. There may be exceptions to this, but hope it helps answer your question.

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

That sounds like your recovery was unable to decrypt data. Did you format the data partition prior to installing the ROM?

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

I recall the OP wishing that his threads remain a topic soley for TWRP. Other, more stable and more polished, custom recoveries are off topic.

MIUI 12 Redmi Note 9 Pro

Dirty flash is fine from global 11.0.7, so you shouldnt have any problems with that. Can always clean flash later if you do come across any issues related to ROM upgrade.

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

I downloaded and installed 12.0.1 from that same source, and just looking at the contents of the zip again just now, I cannot see a recovery image within it. So just curious, do you have a source for this information? I've never seen a flashable zip, (aside from a custom recovery), with an...

    Redmi Note 9 MIUI EU

Especially important if/when English isn't your primary language as is the case for many users, and/or visitors, here. And for the rookies who don't yet know the codename for their new RN9, I would suggest the app "Device Info HW" from the Google Playstore. Your device codename can be found on...

[QUESTION] [JOYEUSE] (11.0.7.0) Modding System Files without getting stuck on Fastboot mode.

Dynamic partitions are a feature that leads to more efficient use of storage rather being something that end users can utilise to their advantage. The idea is good.....but as we power users have all seen and experienced, it's a pain in the ass for those who rely on the available tools to...

How to Update Joyeuse EU ROM from 11.0.4.0 to 11.0.7.0?

I haven't tested that version of TWRP myself but haven't seen any problems reported in the Telegram channels either. You should be safe with that one.

How to Update Joyeuse EU ROM from 11.0.4.0 to 11.0.7.0?

Are you able to get back into your custom recovery? If so, then find the file manager and navigate to the /sdcard directory. If the subdirectories look like junk names then it suggests that your custom recovery isn't able to decrypt data. In that case, it would be trying a different...

Upgrade to Xiaomi.eu Rom Without Loosing data.

That PBRB version was an unofficial build of an unofficial build. :) The guy who built it was just trying to be helpful by building it himself, and sharing it over at XDA. Regarding the themes app, (I don't use it), I recall reading that there's an updated APK that fixes the issue but dont...
