It would be good, if you give your threads a title with more informations. "Mi5S" in the Mi5S-Section is not very meaningful. On your device is the original chinese rom. If you download files, take care that they are for natrium/ Mi5S Plus, otherwise you coud break your device system.

This could not be real??? The newest one won´t get Android 7.0?

With the last two 6th versions i have had a very small battery consumption. Yesterday after more than two days in small use i ended with 39%. Actually with a little gameplay today and around two hour newsreader i end with 64% - no need to charge it at this time. I´m very satisfied with this...

These are my results on Mi5S with 6.12.29:

If you run AnTuTu twice or more, there are always different results. I had results between 155000 and 110000 without any changes at the same day. It´s also different with different themes, especially, if they are animated.

How can i prevent the sms app to change log text messages or some with written smileys like :-) into mms, which are expensive? In my earlier androids there was always an entry in the settings, that i could mark.

Mi5S: After two days and 3hours with less usage, sms wishes for the new year, one hour gaming, 30 min. phone, some photos, three mail accounts syncing every 10 minutes i have had this morning 51% battery with 6.12.22. That´s really good.

If your phone is rooted, i think xposed will offer this option. I didn´t try it on xiaomi devices, but with my earlier HTCs i could change with xposed modules the number of apps on home screen from 4x5 or 5x5 or 5x6 and more without changing the resolution of the screen.

Global version is not really better than Xiaomi.eu. These roms here are optimized, many bloatware apps are removed and they come with additional functions. Also the translation is better as in global rom. The advantage of the global rom is to get OTA Updates. But this is not important for me...

I never had this before, not with the last stable version and also not with the last two weeklys for Mi5S. I think it depends to some personal settings.

With 6.12.22 the results in many low light situations are better and the problem oft the 1st post here seems to be history.

On my Mi5S this rom runs fast and smooth. Battery drain is very low. See the graphics.

I am using 6.12.8 after two weeks with the stable release. At this time i didn´t recognize bigger bugs, but the theme store in this version has less categories, it´s not easy to scroll through so many files to find something. Also sometimes the network connection speed seems to be lower.
