Xiaomi dropped support for mi4i long ago. I think there might appear miui 8 stable for it, but not yet.

Yeah the reason it's not on the list anymore is probably because support is dropped. So you won't see MIUI 8 from xiaomi.eu then.

MIUI version update doesn't mean Android version update. Who says it doesn't get marshmallow eventually. Don't count on it though. If you want marshmallow that bad there are custom roms for you.

MIUI version update doesn't have anything to do with Android version. No device is updated in terms of Android version with the MIUI 8 update.
