I wiped data completely, and the haptic feedback while long pressing homescreen is back, and the haptic feedback just feels better. Still no keyboard feedback.

its the chinese updater app. It will not work outside of china i believe and it can update some apps and leave them in chinese so you wouldnt want to use it.

if it onyl works with apps make sure your APN are set correctly, other than that, reflash roms because i dont have those problems

Haptic feedback from keyboard seems to be missing in 1.6.17. Even if its enabled in setting (Ichecked every single one to be enabled) it seems to be missing. Capacitive buttons work ok, just not the keyboard or long pressing an empty space on the homescreen.

Is it really a bug though? I think that is how its supposed to be. Unless you edit the avatars of each contact with their picture manually to show who is calling, it will act on default ways. And by default it shows your lockscreen wallpaper.

version for 1.6.3 keeps me 4 way boot! just leaves grey lockscreen notification bar :(, 1.6.10 works great! no grey notification bar but no 4 way reboot :(

does this also interfere with 4 way reboot?? i tested the 1.6.3 mod on my desire z running 1.6.10 and also had 4 way reboot working but the only problem was that it made my lockscreen notification bar grey instead of transparent.

I have a theory about fixing the wallpaper issue, my brother said he had it too with lang pack e (Nexus one), but reinstalling lang pack d and pushing the updater.apk fixed it! lang pack e + updater.apk didnt work. Anyone have the desire z lang pack d i could use to test this?

Works almost perfect, I have applied 3 different themes and they are all perfect, except i only get a black background with each. Changing wallpaper gives me "Theme successfully applied" although still remains a black background EDIT: fixing permissions and rebooting makes wallpaper appear, but...
