hum strange tested it again, and still just full hd picture :( so i reset my video settings and now i have full size picture ... edit : hum after reseting it, i did not changed the 1080p to 720p but it filmed to 720p if i do 1080p film, the picture is no more full size .. so it is the issue...

yes i tested it i first took a picture without filming (3.8MB big) i did a fullhd film and clicked on the take picture button and the picture was 550KB big i opened the second picture and checked the resolution : it was the same as the video

when taking from the video, its a screenshot.. so if you film full hd ( 1980 x 1080) the picture will be the same size... so no 8 Mpx picture

i don't think both apps looks the same ... MIUI camera looks totaly different than android stock camera and photosphere comes from the stock camera

no i'm not really fan of the stock camera. and having two camera apps is also not for me sorry .. I prefere wait for 4.2 MIUI ^^

i'm always on the default mode (normal) i'm charging my phone again, it last 1d and 17hours, had about 10% left the screentime changed to 3 hours 12 min (39%) wifi was on about 15 hours (6%) i also had the GPS for a long time (but this is not shown) i need to do more test on week end...

well, i don't know if it is good or not (i was outland, where i have only a little reception for my network, so the phone switch between it (when it saws it) and the outland roaming network maybe this also drop a little battery life ? The phone is on batterie since 19hours and 5 mins 56% left...

at least one thing is sure, the screen pixel density is higher on MI2 N4, SGS3 or even iPhone5 have less pixels and you see it. The image on screen is really clear. I was surprised when i turned it on. Maybe also because it is not an amoled screen ... but you see the difference directly ;)...
